HOW TO USE THIS DOCUMENT

4.1 General

· The ceiling limit flag (c) is now supported.

· E-DAS is now compatible with Windows XP.

4.2 Access Database

· E-DAS is compatible with Access 97, 2000, and XP.

· All averages are now stored in one table named "Averages."

· The MDB file can now be stored in a directory other than
  the data diretory.

· The speed of saving data has been enhanced.

5.0  WHAT WAS NEW IN Version 5.34 Service Pack 3 of the E-DAS for
Windows Access Database Module
_____________________________________________________________

5.1 The Access Database Module has become part of the standard
Ambient product beginning with version 5.34 Service Pack 3.
Upon installation, the Access Database Module is turned off
for new installs.  To enable the module, the user must edit
the EDAS.INI file in the E-DAS Program Directory to set the
DATABASE flag in the [POLL] section to YES (DATABASE=YES).

For upgrades, the DATABASE flag will remain as it is 
originally set in the existing INI file.
