AirVision Wiki Launched
Agilaire's new AirVision wiki is designed to be an source for both use and development documentation for Agilaire's AirVision suite of products. In addition to usage information, this wiki provides release notes, product plans, FAQs, and application notes that go beyond the traditional manual (and can be updated in real-time).

Most importantly, the wiki is designed for customer input, so customers can add their own questions, experiences, suggestions, and ideas, to make AirVision a better product for all.

Registered users should have received an email with an invitation to the wiki site.

New Tool for Ethernet/Modbus Data Acquisition
More and more instruments are (finally!) adopting a standard protocol for data communications- Modbus. Modbus has been around in various forms for over 20 years, and offers support in a variety of environments (serial and Ethernet). Modbus eliminates errors commonly encountered in RS-232 communications and allows for a much easier setup. The Model 8832 is the only data logger that offers Modbus Master capability across all environments (serial, ethernet, RTU and FLOAT modes, etc). Agilare has created a new configuration tool to easily map these instruments to the Model 8832. Contact our support group for more details.

Updates for New Ozone Standard (April, 2008)
E-DAS Ambient can be easily adjusted for the new 75 ppb ozone standard through the AQI Levels editor. The Violation of Standards editor needs a small update, which can be downloaded by clicking here.

E-DAS Ambient / DigiTrend Update#1 (Nov 3, 2006)
Some sites have reported upgrade installations not updating the main menu. You may download a ZIP file containing this fix and other fixes (simply unzip the files into your program directory and overwrite existing files) by clicking here. This set of fixes also resolves issues sometimes found with sites with TCP/IP polling when the IP and port are designated (rather than just the IP address).
